Mainely Mauxies and Doxies Health Guarantee

This guarantee is written for the protection of the puppy, the buyer, and the seller. 

The above mentioned puppy is being sold as a pet only. 

This puppy is guaranteed to be in good health to the best of my veterinarian's knowledge.

A licensed veterinarian must check all puppies within 72 hours from the date of pickup to activate this agreement excluding days the vet is closed. Breeder will need proof the puppy was taken to the vet. 

All future liabilities and veterinarian bills will be the buyers responsibility. All breeder responsibility is released at time of purchase. 

If the puppy is diagnosed with a non-life threatening disease/condition/disability the buyer does not have the option to return the puppy. Non-life threatening diseases/conditions/disabilities include but are not limited to hypoglycemia, diarrhea, worms, kennel cough, mites, fleas, ticks, coccidia, giardia, or any other parasites that lie dormant in the puppy’s intestinal tract.

Breeder does not guarantee against Parvo or other similar diseases as once the puppy has left the breeder’s premises, we have no control over environmental exposure that the puppy may receive. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT THE PUPPY HAS AS LITTLE EXPOSURE TO OUTSIDE SOURCES UNTIL IT HAS RECEIVED ALL OF IT’S VACCINATIONS. This includes not taking the puppy to rest areas, restaurants, parks, playgrounds, dog parks, pet stores, or any other areas that may put your new puppy at risk. 

We guarantee this puppy for up to six months on any life threatening hereditary or genetic diseases. If your veterinarian should diagnose your puppy with a hereditary or genetic disorder, you must supply the breeder with a written diagnosis within 48 hours of said diagnosis. We reserve the right to have any diagnosis verified by a veterinarian of our choosing. If the second opinion confirms the first, your puppy will be replaced as soon as another puppy of equal value is available. 

We do not guarantee against adult size, coat, color, trainability, or future breeding capabilities. This puppy is sold strictly as a companion. 

We will not guarantee against accidents, abuse, or neglect. 

We do not offer cash refunds. 

If the puppy is not seen by a vet within 72 hours this contract is voided. 

All puppies have been given the appropriate doses of dewormer (Pyrantel) and had their first round of vaccinations with our vet. These vaccinations must be boostered within a certain amount of time so taking the puppy to the vet is imperative. 

If you sell or place the puppy in  another home, this contract is void. If anything happens where the buyer can not care for the puppy, puppy must be returned to the breeder. 

We feed our puppies Hill’s Science Diet Small Bites Puppy Food. If you decide to change their food, please do so gradually to prevent stomach upset which could lead to diarrhea and dehydration. 

PLEASE TAKE YOUR NEW PUPPY TO THE VET FOR A CHECKUP. Even though we give different types of dewormers to the puppies, they can still pick up parasites. Some parasites can lay dormant then show back up. Always make sure your vet does a fecal exam on the first visit.
